Ultra-sensitive wavefront sensors
ALPAO markets Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors dedicated to adaptive optics applications in which the light flux is extremely low: astronomy, biology, etc. Thanks to its unique software architecture, the users benefit from all the potential of the camera while working in an extremely flexible environment such as Matlab®. Although the sensor is provided with its own control software, the user can thus efficiently develop specific applications. |
These wavefront sensors are optimised for closed-loop applications. In order to maximise the flux in each sub-pupil, the number of sub-pupils is tailored to the number of actuators in the deformable mirror (Fried/standard configurations).
